This is the privacy policy for the 0 likes shop, operated by Follow Your Instincts UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Birkenstr. 14, 67067 Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany (“we”). Contact: hello@followyourinstincts.xyz. We sell one t-shirt. Below is everything that happens to your data when you look at it or buy it.
1. Just visiting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA, with EU edge locations). Vercel processes the technical data every web server needs to answer a request (IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp) and keeps server logs briefly for security and troubleshooting (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in running a website). Vercel is bound by a data processing agreement including the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookie-less: it derives a short-lived, non-reversible visitor hash from the request and stores no identifier on your device. We see aggregate numbers (visits, countries, referrers, pages), not people.
No advertising pixels, no social plug-ins, no third-party fonts: fonts and images are served from our own deployment.
2. Buying the tee
Checkout runs on Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, and Stripe, Inc., USA). When you click “Buy” you are taken to a Stripe-hosted page that collects your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and payment details. Card numbers never reach our servers; Stripe processes them under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations. Stripe may set cookies on its checkout page for fraud prevention. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legal obligation to keep accounting records.
To ship your order we pass your name, shipping address, email and phone number to our print-on-demand partner Printful (Printful, Inc., USA, and Printful Latvia SIA, EU), which prints the shirt and hands it to a carrier (for example USPS, DHL, DPD or FedEx, who receive what they need to deliver and notify you). Printful may email you shipping updates for your order. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Transfers to the USA rest on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our own records of your order consist of the Stripe payment record and the Printful order record; we keep no separate customer database. If you email us about an order, the email lives in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle it.
3. Retention
Order and payment records are kept for the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law (6–10 years, §§ 147 AO, 257 HGB). Analytics aggregates are not personal data. Server logs are rotated by Vercel within a short window.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under Arts. 15–21 GDPR, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For us that is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz. Email hello@followyourinstincts.xyz and we will sort it out. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
5. Changes
If the shop changes in a way that changes this policy, the update appears here with a new date. See also our terms and imprint.
